Best Time to Visit Uttarakhand

  • Summer (March to June): This is the best time to visit Uttarakhand, with pleasant weather perfect for sightseeing, treks, and outdoor activities in the hill stations and national parks.
  • Monsoon (July to September): While the state is lush and green during the monsoon, the rains can disrupt trekking and other outdoor activities. It’s not the ideal time for travel, though it can be a quieter time for those who prefer fewer tourists.
  • Winter (October to February): For snow lovers, winter is the best time to visit Uttarakhand, especially in areas like Auli, Nainital, and Mussoorie. It’s also an ideal time for spiritual retreats and temple visits.
